Blowfish of Himakajima Island
January 1, 2022. The usual eight members went to Himakajima Island to eat blowfish.
I left home with my wife at 10:00 am. We all got together at my brother-in-law’s house at 11:00 am. And we had breakfast at a coffee shop called Sylvia.
We arrived at Katana fishing port at 1:30 pm. Then we took a sea taxi to Himakajima Island.
We arrived at Himakajima Island in about 15 minutes, and checked in at Hotel Otoha . We took a rest at Hotel Otoha and went to Himaka Shrine for a New Year’s first visit.
We ate full-course dinner of blowfish from 6:00 pm. Last year, we weren’t able to come here because of the Coronavirus, so the blowfish tasted very delicious.
January 2.2022. I got up at 5:00 am and took a relaxing bath alone.
We ate breakfast at 8:00 am. The ozouni with yellowtail was very delicious.
We checked out the hotel at 9:00 am and headed to the fish market called Uotarou. Then we bought Fatty-tuna and Salmon roe, and ate them as sushi at my brother-in-law’s house.
I hope we can go there again next year.
